Could you represent and support your colleagues?

An online Election Café showcasing the incredible work carried out by Police Federation workplace representatives is taking place next week.

All members who sign up to attend the third and final café event to learn more about the role ahead of next month’s elections can claim a free gift.

The session is part of the ongoing Reps@Work campaign which highlights the vital work carried out by workplace reps.

Gwent Police Federation branch secretary Annalea Kift said: “It is open to all members and we would particularly urge members from under-represented groups to register, attend and find out more.

“Elections take place in July and this gives members a chance to have a chat with those in the know about the life of a Fed rep.

“We would encourage as many members as possible to register and attend. Representing your fellow officers, providing support when they are in need is incredibly rewarding and I would encourage anyone who thinks they might like to be a rep to register for this event.”

The Election Café will be open from 6pm until 7.30pm on Tuesday 1 June.
